Terms of Use

These terms govern your use of Sera, an AI self-care service operated by Real Product LLC ("Real Product", "we", "us"). By creating an account or using Sera, you agree to them.

1. What Sera is — and isn't

Sera is an AI self-care tool for making one looping thought clearer, trying one small reset or next step, and ending the interaction with more autonomy. It is not therapy, a medical service, diagnosis, treatment, or crisis support and is not intended to prevent or manage a health condition. AI-generated reflections and suggestions can be inaccurate or unsuitable. Confirm or correct Sera's reflection and use your own judgement.

2. Who can use Sera

You must be 18 or older to use Sera. By using the app you confirm that you are.

3. AI processing of your messages

With your separate consent, audio or text you choose to send is processed by Sera's self-hosted speech and AI systems on Sera-controlled infrastructure in the EU to assess urgent-safety signals, produce a reflection, and — only after you confirm or correct it — offer one bounded intervention and takeaway. This content is not sent to an external AI or speech API. Private and Incognito raw reset content is transient by default. Incognito reads and writes no memory. A suggestion becomes approved memory or causal evidence only when you explicitly save or edit-and-save it; saving memory is not consent to save a raw thread. Sera does not use your content to train AI models or sell it.

4. Your account

You can complete one private or Incognito reset without an account, email, name, card, trial, or subscription after giving the required session-only consent. Registering later is optional and is offered after the result. If you create an account, no legal name is required; an email, password, and short-lived verification code let you return securely. Keep credentials and codes private.

Sera Plus may offer monthly or annual auto-renewing subscriptions only after the first reset result. Before Stripe Checkout, Sera shows an account-specific calendar timeline for Today, Reminder, and Charge date when a trial is actually available, plus the complete plan amount, currency, renewal period, and cancellation wording. Stripe Checkout remains authoritative for eligibility, taxes, final local amount, and purchase approval. Cancel through Sera's Stripe subscription portal; access normally continues until the end of the paid period.

7. Ending things

You can stop using Sera at any time. Withdrawing account consent stops new wellbeing processing and deletes your durable Sera reset data after in-flight wellbeing work stops; consent audit and minimised safety records follow the retention described in the Privacy Policy. You can request full account deletion from Settings or by emailing hello@seranook.com. Deleting your Sera account removes live service data and queues erasure for any known current or legacy Stripe customer mapping. It does not automatically cancel a subscription; cancel it first through Sera's Stripe portal. A Stripe customer is erased only after every subscription and open checkout is in a terminal state. Stripe may retain transaction records where needed for fraud prevention, tax, chargebacks, or legal duties. We may suspend accounts that breach these terms or create a safety, legal, or security risk.

8. Liability

Sera is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Real Product is not responsible for indirect or unforeseeable loss arising from your use of Sera. Nothing in these terms excludes consumer rights or liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.

9. Changes

If we make material changes to these terms, we'll let you know in the app before they take effect.
